The schedule for the 2008 EMP Pop Conference, April 10-13 in Seattle, is finally up. This, to me, is one of the most inspiring places to think and talk about music, writing, and culture in a group of enthusiastic, brilliant, conversationally-minded folks. This
roundtable discussion features women working in various fields sharing
their experiences of trying to integrate feminist politics into their
work. All conference participants are welcome, but outreach to women
attendees will, we hope, create a “safe space” for discussing these
issues within the Pop Conference.
